Two of my photographic passions, dance and water, have come together in Jeanne Ruddy's newest work, Breathless. Dark in concept, breathtaking in beauty, Jeanne's choreography confronts domestic abuse cumulating in drowning. I first worked with Jeanne during her premier Philadelphia season and this spring she commissioned imagery to be projected behind the performance. The results are some of my favorite shots.
