Alsatian Vineyards
In the seventy odd miles between Strasbourg and Milhouse there are over one hundred small towns and villages where wine is produced and has been in some cases since Roman times. The vineyards spill off these hillsides right down to the walls of the towns.
These beautiful small clusters of red roofed buildings, mostly half-timbered structures, are adorned with flowers, even during construction.
