BOB EMMOTT
Bob has long been fascinated with water, its rhythm, its movement, its power. For several years he has spent time in maritime Maine and Canada exploring the contrast of raw energy and quiet tide pools - crashing waves and close-up views of hidden worlds.
This work lead to his collaboration with Jeanne Ruddy, choreographer and artistic director of Jeanne Ruddy Dance, in her 2005 work Breathless where Bob's haunting images were projected behind the dancers.
